Napa Calls.......

it has been about a month and a half since leaving my post as Executive Chef of Grange Restaurant and The Citizen Hotel. i left at the end of May to join Dean & Deluca as Exec Chef of the store in St. Helena. my journey began in Charlotte, NC training in our store there. then, i went to our flagship store, the original Dean & Deluca in Soho, NYC! I must say, it is such a thrill to see where the company began, where it is and where we want to take it! D&D, is a very exciting brand with a rich history in the world of specialty/gourmet foods. our chief operating officer refers to it as a "34 year old start-up company." for me, it is not only a chance to reach back into history, but to deliberate on where it can go into the future!

being a native of San Francisco, it has been a long time dream to live and cook in the Napa Valley.I hope that you will join us on your next trip to wine country!

stay tuned as i bring in lots of local products including; local produce, local/artisan cheese, and pastured meats. every day is a great day when you get to cook!
