Paella Night at home in the LowCountry!

A Dish That Reflects Our Nation: Okra Soup by Samin Nosrat

Just came across this article from the New York Times Magazine written by, Samin Nosrat. I have lived in the LowCountry (Charleston, SC) for the past two and a half years. I continue to realize that there is so much to learn about the food ways here and, it's cultural impacts on food in America. Hope you enjoy the read and the recipe.

Thanks MT! Tried out Samin's okra soup the day after it appeared in the Times Magazine - that's a keeper! Gotta make this again while good okra is still available. Adding it late in the process really delivers a just-right doneness.
